When can you start to see signs of gender?? (PICS added!!)

My chicks from MPC are just shy of 6 weeks old. I have some that are huge, and some that are small. What look like brown EE's are twice the size of all the others, however there are a couple more brown EE's who are half their size. If I go by size right now, they sent me 5 roos. I ordered 25 assorted pullets. I got 24, 2 were dead. In all I lost 10 within the first 36 hours, so I am down to 14.

The ones with the larger combs have not come in red, they are still the yellowish color. I am so hoping that means they are just pullets who ate more than the rest.

From what I read on their web site, they replace the roos or refund for the roos if you meet the % requirement. They guarantee that 90% will be pullets, there's a 10% margine for error that they will not refund or replace.

I posted the same 'OMG I have a roo' type messages when my leghorns were about 4 weeks. They had huge combs and I had several people tell me they must be roos - while others said they were pullets and not to worry. They are 12 weeks now and definitely pullets. I'd wait till 4-6 weeks to post pics and start worrying! (FWIW, all my MPC chicks ended up so far as pullets).
