Okay I think I have a chick that is starting to lay. I haven't found smaller eggs. I did find an egg by our feeder with no shell. Is That Normal for a first staring to lay chick??

Glad to hear that! I love all the knowledge in the forums on this site! With new layers sometimes there are kinks in the production. You can get a couple of different misfires while they work out they process. Shelless eggs are one of them. One or two is nothing to worry about.
