I have 2 Pekins and 1 black runner (all hatchery stock) that are 21 weeks old. No eggs yet? When did you start getting eggs from your Pekins? I am walking ALL around the pond too, to see if they are stashing them somewhere. No white floaters in the pond either. :|

My cayugas didn't start laying for almost a year :(
Did you hear that thud? That was just the sound of me passing out.

I'd die!

Storey's guide says usually by 17 weeks and seems like most people are getting eggs by 20 weeks. There is no way I can afford to feed them for an entire year with no eggs. If I don't get some by 30 weeks - I might have to start selling them off or putting them in my freezer.

Most people's ducks are laying by 17 weeks?? If I get a egg by 20 weeks I'm lucky. Then again I've never kept any breed known for their egg laying abilities.
