When did your Sexlink lay her first egg?!

So, did they ALL lay their first egg in the nest box?? My GSL will be 16 weeks this Friday.ALL my girls will be 20 weeks the day I leave for a weeks vacation in Calif.

I figure with all the work and $$ I have put into my flock. my eggs will cost me about $10.00 a doz. LOL but they are fun

All of our Pullets have gone right to the nest box have not had any lay anywhere else. Guess I must be doooin somethin right.

20 and 21 weeks 6 red sex links aka (cinnamon queens) from cackle hatchery. hatched april 1st.

One of my son's red stars laid her first egg the day she turned 15 weeks. Three weeks later, all three of them are now laying most days.

I actually wish they *wouldn't* have started so soon, AFAIK it is healthier for them to finish growing/maturing first. But what can ya do.

16 and 17 wks, both in the box. I've only had one lay outside and that was the first time she laid.
