When do chickens start to lay eggs?

Well this can range a lot, some chickens start laying really early at like 6 months but some breeds like silkies can start laying as late as 1 year. What breeds do you have?

Between 20 weeks and 9 months

At earliest, you could get eggs at 16ish weeks. Generally that would be high production breeds.

I have 2 sapphire gems, 2 rhode island reds, 2 midnight majestics, and 3 Easter Eggers.
