When Do Hens Start Laying?/Share Your Laying Experiences

My chickens started laying at all different times. I was getting an egg a day for awhile from my Gold Laced Wyandottes, starting at 5 months old. They're all 6 months now, and I got my first egg from one of my Polish hens yesterday, and my first Ameraucana egg today- bright blue! Some still haven't started. My Pearl White Leghorns and Black Stars are pretty reliable already, like the Wyandottes. I have 20 hens, and I'm up to 10 eggs a day.

I'm guessing Rhode Island or New Hampshire Reds. I have one New Hampshire Red, and they look like him when he was little.

I have my own busness and their all free range and organic so I make a lot I money
My best layer is a leghorn named ghost

HELP

Question Need help I am a first time chicken owner and have taken very good care of my chickens. I got my chickens on 4-7-2014 and all was well then a week ago all chicken except for 3 I have a total of 16. The chickens started to Sneeze, Wheezing, Crackles,rales from lungs then on 3rd day of Tylan injection symptoms have cleared except for Diarrhea seen in pine chips.The chickens have no water eyes no secretions they are active. this spread to the others chicken with in 2-3 day of noticing first chicken with symptoms. Not knowing we did not isolate them when we did 5 had no symptoms during treatment we eneded separating isolating another 2 of the 5 that never exhibit any symptoms leaving only 3 that never developed symptoms.

My first 3 girls all started laying around 5 months and my second set started laying around 4 months. Of course they laid in random spots around the yard. They only laid a couple eggs a week to start now I usually get 4-6 eggs a day from my 6 girls.
Barred Rock, Austerloup, Ameracuna, and 3 Naked Neck mixed with who knows what!!

They are very cute I don't have any yellow chicks but they are super cute too. They have feathers on their feet!

My Polish are just starting to lay an occasional tiny egg. They make up for it with entertainment value! They're total clowns, and very friendly. My Leghorns are great layers, too- not over the top on personality.
