When do "I" Hatch?

I'm new and I'm tired of being a "New Egg". How long until I hatch already? Does it go by posts or time as a member or what is the magic to to get me out of this forsaken shell???

Ohya, bheila, I can't WAIT to lay something! I don't care WHAT it is, as long as I have a place to leave it!

BTW, I'm one of those impatient, early bloomer types, could not wait to get out of that shell and must have ate all my yolk in the process. Maybe that was my urgency?
