My bbs/copper marans are 20 weeks and I just found thier first egg today. I'd post Pic but can't figure out how to do it on my laptop.

I finally got my first egg and she's laid 2 days in a row. Unfortunately it wasn't the dark egg I was expecting, but it's still nice! Maybe she'll be a strong layer then. She a great hen and is very sweet. The last two days I had to sit with her in the coop while she laid, if I left, she got off the nest and made a huge fuss!

I saw your egg! Nice and dark.

My maran has laid every day since she started! She is a very strong layer! Her eggs are a now tad darker, but I'm super happy she lays every day!
