When do Rouen lay?

My two Rouen ducks are 27 weeks old if the breeder was correct and still no eggs
What is the Rouens deal with laying? Do they build a separate nest? Do they only lay in warmth? Etc

Nothing lays year round. Some have longer laying cycles than others, but all birds take a break. Had your ducks started laying prior to the shortening day length, they might have laid through the winter. They may wait until the lengthening days of spring to start laying.

Your Rouen hens are like ours. One with orange and black bill and one with the greenish black

LOL So funny! I thought for sure I'd missed some kind of treatment for angel wing.

Lolololol I wish I didn’t wrap her fast enough and She’s of age now and I guess it’s permanent now people tell me , but it don’t slow her down

Your ducks are adorable! I love the “secret” white feathers on the underside of their wings
