When do Wyandottes generally start laying?

Pics
I have read that winter will not stop them starting to lay when they are ready. Guess you can't alway believe what you read. :) I was lucky that one of mine started a couple of weeks ago.

I live in Brisbane and it is the subtropics so I'm guessing it will not be too long. I'll let you know when they start laying. Wzis I hope yours lay soon.

Darmaqueen hmmm a few more weeks of torture ahead. It's slow time waiting on eggs.

Our six silver laced are about 20 weeks and no one is squatting. Their combs are getting really red. Eggs soon?

Akjody fingers crossed for you.

My first tiny egg today from our little lady. 43grams I so hope you're having some luck.
