When do Wyandottes generally start laying?

[BDF SL Wyandottes]

My Golden and Silver Laced Wyandotte pullets are 14 weeks of age now and I was wondering if they are a early maturing breed and if they should start laying soon? Any information on the breed would be greatly appreciated!

I got the first egg today! They are 18 weeks and 3 days old.

Don't be too jealous, we have a wellsummer that didn't lay until she was 11 months old.

Mine are pushing 22 weeks and nothing im starting to get frustrated will i have to wait another month uhggg

Waiting on the first egg is always torture! It will come though. Just imagine, some people wait for 40+ weeks!

Both or silver and our golden laid within 24 hours of each other at 18 weeks 3 days.

Spoke too soon!!! Get home from work and there it is.......My FIRST EGG!!!! In all its shiny light brown glory! So excited and happy! I love my Kokos!!!
