When do Wyandottes generally start laying?

Both or silver and our golden laid within 24 hours of each other at 18 weeks 3 days.

Ok, now I'm jealous....think I'll put the BBQ in sight of the run.

My White Wyandotte (my Avatar) just started yesterday. She is around 19 weeks old. BUT.......

........................ her first egg was a TINY SHELL LESS egg You can see it here next to my BSL egg (the BSL egg is egg #4 from that chicken) Huge difference in size, not to mention NO SHELL.....Nothing today. I have read it can happen in the beginning as their bodies are regulating. She has plenty of oyster shell etc.
However she is the only hen out of 3 that is doing the infamous "squat" It is SOOOOO funny LOL

Cant wait to get a good egg from her
