When do you butcher your chickens?

Age, not season - though I **should** butcher more in the fall, that has to do with reducing head count for the winter when they can't free range as effectively, to reduce feed costs, NOT for flavor - though those would mostly be older hens (~ 2 yrs), so flavorful (but NOT tender) for that reason.
 
I process mine at 5-8 weeks i aint got time to raise them up as there always rubbery after a year old even crock potted.
