When does a Rooster's crow reach maturity

I have a rooster he is a serama/ old english mix. He is 6 months old. I have had him since he was 2 months old. He is my only rooster. He is very sweet. Only crows a few times a day . He starts crowing after 7am. Which is a perfect time. But his crow is not loud. Which is perfect. My question is when does a rooster crow reach maturity?

Not an expert, but I''ve kept a few roosters. I'd say 9 months to a year.

I was hoping he was already at his full crow. As he is not as loud. I dont have complains from him at the time. But I am afraid I might if it gets louder. I guess I will have to see.

I wouldn't expect him to get louder, necessarily. Just better, more professional sounding. Sometimes young roosters sound like they're being strangled. Hope he stays nice for you.

No he sounds muffled at times. Other times he doesnt. But he is not that loud

My thoughts, too. A quietish roo who let's you sleep in. He's a keeper! My guy starts around 4:30-5:00, too. If anything disturbs his beauty sleep, he'll go off at any time of night.
