We keep our roos in the coop until after 'first crow' which usually occurs around 8 am- I don't have windows in the coop, but the pop door is plexiglass, so limited light comes in until the light comes on around 8:30. I'm very fond of the noise, too, and have a baby monitor in the coop (in case of predator) so I get to hear it, but it doesn't make it to the neighbors!
Even better, they really don't do it much during the day, so I'm not ticking everyone else off! W00t!
My 'teenagers' are clucking now, save the EE roo, and he makes the same squeeeeee the 10 week olds are making. They didn't peep the same as my BR did, though, but beeped! It was hysterical- beepbeep beep beep!
Too cute!
