Is it possible for an egg to pip this early? Or move the egg? Because I monitoring try other incubator and I see or thought I saw an egg move a bit like roll or something I don’t know but I swear I saw it move unless it was something else( I didn’t touch anything: I was just looking which is why I’m confused)

Yes, eggs can move as the chicks are moving inside to get into position to pip. Thats why you don't turn eggs in lockdown once they are positioned, they shouldn't be moved. That is a good sign things are happening like they should.

You may be able to hear them peeping tonight or tomorrow while they are in the shell too. Once they internally pip you can hear them. And you may see an external pip sometime tomorrow. 😀. An exciting couple days coming.

I have never noticed my eggs moving so I am a bit jealous you saw it!.. lol

Oh okay thank you. Haha now that I know that I feel lucky because now I am monitoring them more and they just kind of shake the egg for a few seconds then stop… can’t wait 😆

oh thank you, I wondered thag too. Can’t wait for them they are supposed to be silkies too. I saw a reply that half of the eggs that are hatched from shipped eggs are usually males, please don’t tell me that is true? If it is then I will still love them but I was hoping at least some females from the 6.

All depends no real way to guess how many will be males. Think just under half of mine were. But you may get lucky and have all girls or unlucky and all boys, both not super likely.

All eggs hatching overall in the big picture have about 50% ratio of males to females has nothing to do with being shipped. That doesn't mean each hatch comes out 50-50 but in the overall picture those are normal percent ratios its all the luck of the draw. I think you mean that hatching rate is about 50% on shipped eggs but that all depends on how they are handled in shipping.
