When is it time to face reality?

Well, once he's been home a few days, I'm of the "Suck it up, Buttercup" school! This surgery was to make him better, not needier. Get him on a routine, and get him out of the house as soon as possible. Sounds like he's been house bound for a while. Time to go to a movie, or out to dinner. Whatever floats his boat.

Hopefully things have improved. For some of us the 'inside' of our minds is NOT the place to spend too much time. I speak from experience - activity and a job to do can work wonders - both mentally and physically.

Checking in. Hope you are still sane and healthy.

Hi, he came thru surgery well. At home he was %$@*^%$^^. I want to visit my daughter (planned) and spoke to him on the phone. He admitted depression for the first time. He says it comes and goes. I said eventually it will go away. He says he's feeling a lot better and has more energy. So I guess things are working out for him, which means for me, LOL

Thanks for asking.
