Thanks. I had the shutter setting wrong last night when I was taking the pictures and my trial period for MS Office '07 is over. It lets me look but no more editing.

What a pretty place you have... your chickens look so content (and so does your cat!

You should get picasa from google... I use it to organize all my photos and make simple adjustment (light, cropping, straighten, etc), plus you can link it directly to your google photo albums for easy posting... and it's FREE!

Of course I also have photoshop for the really FUN editing... hee hee... This was a co-worker of mine a few years ago... he really liked Spidey... so I stuck his head on Spidey's body.. haha!

That was good! I like the confused look on his face with his hands up like "WHAT the....?"

Oh, THAT cat! He is waaay too interested in what the girls are doing, here he is a "peeping Tom" (pun intended):

Googling picasa......

Well Hoss kinda made the decision for me.

Monday the 11th he decided to go visit the girls EARLY in the afternoon before I went to work. There was NO WAY I was leaving him loose outside the fenced in yard so I grabbed the raisins and threw handfuls into the coop. Once the girls all rushed in I shut them in and opened the gate to the covered run and threw raisins in front of Hoss and ushered him in. I opened the coop door and sat down to observe the fray.

He has been pretty good, despite the girls pecking that HUGE red thing on his face!! A few times he did this crazy sidestep manuever with one wing down and moved one of the little face peckers away. Another time he knocked on on her butt. After about 1/2 hour I went in and got ready for work.

He does not try to breed them and seems like an old bachelor uncle.

When treats are involved he is very slow to respond. The girls rush in and grab the treats while he stands around looking like "What the...?" A few times he actually rushed one of the girls and pulled some feathers out. When he did that I got up and walked him around a little bit, not chasing him as much as making him remember I am there and didn't want that to happen again. I don't know if that is the right thing to do, or if I should just sit back and let him do that.

Here they all are in front of the coop door.

Does anyone think that EE in the center photo is a roo?
