This wasn't a choice, but I haven't had a problem finding any of the things I needed locally. I live in an area where people still have farms, so farm supplies aren't hard to get.

Now, back when I was first trying to find sheep specific supplies I had trouble, because almost nobody had sheep back then. It was almost impossible to find a vet, too. Chicken stuff, no problem.

I'm suburban but have an old time feed store local. They don't have meds but I've never needed them.
If I can't find what I need locally I make from scratch or order online.

The exact feed I want at the time is probably the most elusive.

Not only is organic hard to find or prohibitively expensive but they also get glassy eyed when I ask for non-GMO.

We just moved to a new State about a month ago.

It was easy to find organic feed at the old place and the price was exactly the same as Dumor at TSC.

Now that we've moved, we were sad to discover that organic feed here is TWICE the price of what it was where I was living.

So we're buying Dumor at TSC.

Definitely vaccinations and wormers for me.

I'm stuck in no-man's land between suburbia and farmland. It's like both sides are carefully keeping their stuff away from the other side.

So everything I could ever need has been placed as far away from me as humanly possible. *sigh*

So if we put vaccines, antibiotics, wound care, and wormers in one "health" group... they would be right up there with organic feed... which one could argue is for health too... interesting. You all are helping me do some market research here and I really appriciate the feedback.... please keep posting and voting!

I could have sworn when I started this poll that organic feed would be a landslide.

Anyone voting for feeder or waterer want to elaborate on what they do or don't like about what is available to them?

Waterer. For the winter anyway. Up here I need an electric or heated one, and none of the supply stores around here carries those, so I order online. I tried the metal heater with a metal waterer one year, but the heater cord got ruined and it quit working, so the metal waterer froze and popped. I have a plugin base plastic one now, very similar to the one Premeir carries, but it has the twist base. I really want to get Premeir's with the vaccuum seal on the bottom... so all you have to do is pour the water in the little hole and put the little cover back on...
