When the men put their foot down...

It works for me.

We know each other well enough that when we are not physically together and a decision needs to be made, we've got a pretty good idea of how the other would feel about it.

The rule for us is generally whoever cares more about a subject is the one that's going to get their way unless it's just totally impossible or unreasonable (He wants a boat, I'm fine with that, we can't afford the one he is drooling over)

I want chickens more than he doesn't want chickens, so we are getting chickens.
He wants to plant 100+ onions in the garden more than I don't want to plant 100+ onions in the garden, so 100+ onions are getting planted.

Right now the baby cares more about being naked than his dad or I care about making him wear clothes, so I guess the kidlet can have his way.

This is how my marriage works also.

If my marriage would have worked that way I would likely still be with her and happy about it.

fine, got a trailer I can borrow to haul it back, or do you think it will ride in the back of the pick with the rails on it?

I've reached & breached it every time....now....well....now I don't even know how many chickens I have...LOL but he's now putting his foot down on NO MORE coops or buildings housing chickens. This is after one quarantine coop, my massive coop which still is not completed and two waterfowl pens. I'm still hoping for 3-4 bantam pens (for fall, spring & summer months) and at least one chicken tractor for a less-rare breed I can free range & perhaps

even butcher, eventually...
