Good Morning BYC!

It is so lovely today, here in Sunny So Cal, with our wonderful June gloom. (Yeah right)! It was actually drizzling this morning when I let the girls, (Still waiting on the verdict on that one. Possibly have some boys in there. Will wait until they are about 3mo to be certain. Can you say "cock-a-doodle-doo"?), out in the run. We replaced the BJG and GLW, but my PR is very aggressive toward them and pecks them. I put PR in the solitary confinement for 3 days and reintroduced. No better. However, when it is time to go to bed the PR watched everyone go in and nestled in front of them all, kinda protective. Me things she's a he by her behavior and some responses to one of my posts on their sexes. Other than that, everyone is doing well. They are on an organic, no soy, starter/grower. They like it when I mix in Raw Qephor and organic flax and hemp seeds. They had some black kale yesterday which was a blast watching them run around with pieces of it. They looked at my like I was crazy when I gave them a piece of my banana, but once the PR had a taste...it was all over. They get crickets and decapitated meal worms, as a treat (I save the heads and let them dry out and give them those also).

We are getting into the groove of this whole chicken thing, and actually enjoying it! I read a post somewhere about how watching them is more fun than watching TV. I agree!
