I have been treating my favorite hen for sour crop for over 8 days and no improvement. She now has pendulous crop, still has runny poop. The thing is she is full of life and colour doesn't seem unwell.
I have tried every remedy out there and after 7 days and no improvement I let her out to the run with the other chooks she is very happy so I'm conflicted about euthanasia or do I just let her be?
She is the buff Sussex

Can you make a crop bra, to support her crop so it's not sagging, to allow it empty properly? I think one may help with her problem.

If you have some vet wrap, & padding you could make one. But apparently you can now buy them on Amazon now too.
I had one in her all of yesterday I just used a cloth face mask and used vet tape to keep it in place.
I took it off this morning because her crop still hadn't emptied overnight

What all have you used as a sour crop treatment?

I'd suggest leaving the crop bra on for support.

I have a hen with alot of crop issues too. This article was very helpful as she was really a doughy and not so sour. The natural treatment with spices and lemon worked great for her. If you can do it 2 or 3 x a day for 2 or 3 days. It shrunk her crop after 2 days.

What have you been doing for treatments?
It's very doughy.
Those measurements are extremely hard 1/16 teaspoon isn't even able to be measured?
I have withheld food for 36 hours and then fed soft foods and did the thrush treatment also
