Maybe make a double batch using 1/8 teaspoon and use only half at the time, save the other half later?

I am VERY VERY new here and dealing with some heartbreaking issues with chicks, but I felt like it may be ok for me to let you know that the person's hen has already passed away, unfortunately.

I realised later on... but since I am dealing with similar issues and this is what lead me to the post, I figured if someone else is reading it, (like I did) and just not in the headspace to sort it out, this could be an option. I am trying the recipe this very morning, but ended up making a bigger batch, just because the tiny measurements are difficult. My heart is heavy this morning too, so my compassion is with you.
