When to switch feeds

My 4 buffs will be 5 weeks tomorrow and the 4 other chicks will be 4 weeks old - wow they look a lot older...

Right now I have them on Purina Start and Grow unmedicated. I think I read somewhere where around 6 weeks I need to start feeding them something different? It seems like there was a feed in between the starter and the layer feed...

I just keep mine on starter until the first lay. There is also grower ration but I would just keep with the starter.

Ok we can do that - that makes it easier!!!

I use starter until I run out of it, then switch to grower. Keeping them on starter is also an option, though costwise I think starter is often a little more expensive.

I think the starter feed that I am feeding is like almost $11.00 at my TS.
