When to turn out ducks?

They are ducks but domestic for sure. Any neighbors with ducks? Or ponds or streams around?

I stopped at the neighbors about half a mile across the road. They have a pond out back and some geese and swans. After telling them what happened they said they had 3 magpie ducks that disappeared couple months ago. He did they were black and white as adults but black and yellow as babies.
I think we may have solved this mystery, kids!

Sure nuff! They didn't say they wanted them back.
What other kinds of ducks start out yellow and black?
Funny thing is, I've never seen any kind of ducks in the creek running across the property. I've seen wild hogs, and deer, even heard wild turkeys, but never ducks.

Sneaky things weren’t they! My Muscovy can be yellow and blk as ducklings. Just depends on what color they are going to be. But I don’t think your ducklings are Muscovy although I can’t see their bills very well. Muscovy ducklings have different shapped bills than other domestic ducklings

Only bad thing is, in the last week, they won't let me get within 25 feet of them without them taking off like their asses were on fire and their heads were catching!
