When will my new chicken lay an egg?

Hi all,
I’ve recently purchased a 1.5 yr old hen from a local seller a week ago and was wondering what’s y’all’s personal experience on when she might to start to lay again? I know stress is a factor and she probably won’t lay for a bit and I also know there’s no clock on these kinds of things but just wondering yalls take on it! Thanks
