When will my pullet start laying?

I bought her I think April 11th as a chick? She is a Leghorn, I believe a California White Leghorn to be exact (she has a few random black feathers).

This picture was from about a week ago. Her comb/wattles are even a little bigger now. She's a very pretty girl. This picture kind of makes her look weird. Lol.

Probably within about a month. Usually about 5 months this time of year.

I think Leghorns tend to lay earlier than most birds. It should be very soon especially with the very red combs and wattles. Good luck!

My leghorns started at 17 weeks They laid within a week of comb and wattles turning red. so should be soon!

Lucky! Mine are around 18 wks and no eggs.

The oldest. This was several days ago. Her comb has grown after this.

I don't think all squat before laying. Mine never did.

I would say any day now. All 6 of my leghorn girls started laying between 17 and 19 weeks.

Interesting, almost all of mine have squatted at least once. The oldest is the best squatter of course.
