when will my pullets start laying and how do i tell if it is my 2 year

how do i tell if my 2 1/2 year old barred rock is laying the eggs or if one of my 19 week old pullets i have a 20 week old barred rock pullet and a 19 week old red sexlink pullet i get large brown eggs but i dont know whos laying them.


and i have 6 19-20 week old pullets 2 brown leghorns,2easter eggers,1 red sexlink,and 1 barred rock

You will have to watch and see who goes into and out of the nest boxes.

Red sexlinks lay a lighter brown egg, I call it cream.

Usually you will find small mis-shapen eggs when pullets start laying before they lay "normal" eggs, after that though you may never know!
