When will she give birth

I am not familiar with nursing marks. She definitely underweight and if she isnt getting enough nutrients, the puppies might not be getting enough nutrients in her milk. I didnt read back (though I read the first couple pages awhile ago). Have you seen the puppies? Doesnt it seem odd that she'd leave them? I guess if shes not being fed then at home then she has no choice, as if she was a wild dog leaving them to look for food. I would call animal control. I'll do it for you if you give me your address. :D I assume if you cant call animal control then you're a minor and definitely dont give your address to strangers on the internet. It hurts my heart to see this sweet baby in such distress.

At first, OP seemed to see signs of puppies suckling.
The neighbours seemed to keep Nuala cooped up and she did not come over that much, and OP broke her arm so can't hunt for the puppies.
Nuala is starving so OP is feeding her.
She also got into a fight (at least we hope it was another dog and not the neighbours), but was not too badly hurt.

As every day goes by I wish more and more I could do something... though it is obviously not an option, me being on another continent and everything!

Yeah that’s why I fed her, I want her to get nutrients. I cannot call animal control and since I’m in a small town they could easily suspect it’s me because I’m one of the only ones that knows about the dog and her conditions. The only other one that knows about it is my friend and she is in the same boat as me, she lives with her grandma and they don’t want to call for safety reasons.

I’m hoping that when the puppies open their eyes and are able to walk good enough, Nala will bring them over. I’m assuming their eyes are already open so I doubt it will be long till I see them.

About a bit less than a month, right?
Okay. The law (here at least) is that puppies cant be sold under 8 weeks old, so I suspect that means they are typically weaned by then. I assume the people are letting mama feed them because they're too cheap to buy food anyway. But signs of suckling would only get worse the more the puppies teeth come in, right? so not seeing anything seems weird.

That’s what I meant by suckling marks
