When will they become broody?

I've read the lines coming from hatcheries have been bred to not go broody, but of course that's not going to be true all of the time. I may be wrong so hopefully someone will correct me if so.
It really depends on the individual bird if they're a breed that's not an exceptionally broody breed
 
I think the only one from that list that tends to go broody is the orpington, but even then it seems to be uncommon if they're not from a brooding line.

I had a brahma that was broody for like 3 days once but other than that, I've never had any if those birds listed
