Where are my babies???!!! They are here only 3 DOA

Hope they come in soon.....I am expecting just a few chicks next week from the same place...so know I am getting concerned too

Thanks for the concern. I called the sort center today and they are still not there!

The hatchery isn't open yet but I'll call as soon as they are. Today is the last day of expected delivery, and they haven't even made it to the sort center yet. The sort center is a day before the post office. The guy said they might come in on the 9am express.

I am totally sick with worry.

Not to mention that the phone keeps ringing for people wanting their chicks, I'm about to turn it off.

I better go take my anxeity pill, I can use some calming down right now. Poor DH and big dumb dog, they get the fallout of my worry.

I was hoping you'd post that they had come. That's a long time for them to be in transit. Did they ship them monday am or pm?

Oh that sucks LC, I hope they come in today. Meyer will have a huge replacement order if not. It hasn't been too hot up here in Elizabeth, but I imagine Longmont is a bit warmer.

Crossing fingers for you that they make it OK.

If you ordered from Meyer Hatchery in Ohio, they've been open for over an hour.

They are here. They sent them to the PO instead of the sort center. They sat in Cleveland for 2 days.

3 were DOA 2 are very weak. All have water and food and heat now. The rest look to be very energetic.

Yeah! Glad they are finally here and mostly good to go. Sorry about the ones that didn't make it ... hope the other little two perk up.

Any of my packages that come thru Pittsburgh never get scanned again until they show up at my local post office. And I know they go thru Columbus before they get to my PO.
