Hmmm. I'm thinking not, but I'd have to dig a bag up and look...
It's not medicated, though. A 40# bag of layer feed runs $13.50.
Where can I get organic feed?

Back with my babies! I ended up going to Jerseyville in the end. I've got two auracanas and one barred rock. They are so terribly cute!

Yippee, Katie! Your "araucanas" are either Ameraucanas or Easter-eggers... they are always mislabeled... But they can still lay blue eggs, hopefully! My Eleanor was one of Jerseyville's "Araucanas".

What kind of outdoor setup do you have for them?
Hope you're having a BLAST! Mine are cuddled under my chin right now.

Yah, I figured they wern't real auracanas, but I'm happy enough with them

I'm pretty sure my big lady is an ameraucana, as she lays blue eggs, but don't they have ruffs and feathered feet? Ah well. Currently the babies are in the brooder in the basement, but we have an old converted tomato cage which works great as a run, and a converted rabbit hutch for the house, where my big lady is now living. And I am having a blast! I'm so glad I decided to get chicks again! Its been several years since we've had any.

We live outside the city, in Clayton. Neighbors think the coop we're building is a play house for my daughter. I think they'll catch on when they start seeing chickens pecking around in a few months.
