where can i adopt a pigeon

i’m looking for places in michigan where i can adopt NOT BUY a pigeon. it must be a rescue and NOT FROM A BREEDER.

i couldn’t find anything about pigeons. i’m in macomb michigan

if i can’t find anything my other pigeon is going to be alone since we have no other pigeons

I can think of any place where e you can "adopt" a pigeon in Michigan. Why are you opposed to a breeder?

thank you, there are so many pigeons available for adoption that i’d rather get one from a shelter than buy from a breeder. the only problem is we need a male and we can only find females near us (or males that are too young to be adopted yet)

I've never seen or heard of pigeons for adoption.
I think it's going to be pretty hard to adopt a pigeon, if a pigeon escapes, it just melts into the pigeon populace or since they aren't as accustomed to predators, they get picked off really easy.
Perhaps look for someone who can't keep theirs anymore and are looking for a good home for them.

i haven’t had them too long so don’t know much, wouldn’t 2 female fight if there’s no males?

we found a few for adoption they are just too young (we would have to wait for them to wean)
