Where can I buy 1/2 gln Mason jars?

I'll be coming into a lot of goats milk in the next few months (as my does kid) and I want to stock up on the 1/2 gallon size Mason jars. Around here the store only carry them in the fall so I'm looking on line.

Does anyone know of a good on-line source to buy them?

Have you tried checking thrift stores, flea markets, yard sales, freecycle, etc.? I find a ton of jars at such places.

Those are great suggestions and I've tried them all (except we don't have flea markets near here). I've been watching those places since last fall and was amazed to never find any! I know they are in high demand around here as there are quite a few goat milkers in the area.​

Here in WI we have a farm store called fleet/farm they sell new ball jars in the half gallon size with lids and rings by cases of 6 for 9.00.

Any farm store, and maybe even wally world.

We use them for refrigerator pickles.

I grew up in Wisconsin in the Janesville area and I loved Farm & Fleet (that's what we called it many years ago - probably the same store.

Wallyworld only sells the quart size around here.

I ordered canning jars through Ace Hardware. They drop ship to the nearest store so you don't have to pay shipping. I am not sure if they have 1/2 gallon size. It worth a try.
