Where can I order 4 Chicks?

I think McMurray is now doing smaller orders but I'm not sure how small.

Omygosh - I must have dreamed it! Recently got their catalog and thought I'd seen something in it about smaller orders but I must have made it up. Sorry!

Agree with Annie... unless by some miracle a Delaware breeder pops up near me I'ma have to order from the hatchery, and since in my city 4 is the max I can have... mypetchicken is the way to go. Though, I may order five just in case one turns out to be a boy.

I think I remember them saying in their cataloge that they're sending smaller numbers of ducklings? I think a minimum of two now?

Meyer Hatchery does the small order thing. 3 chicks at a time. Nice, healthy birds. And not too far away.

Ideal poultry has no minimum but they do add extra free males for warmth..
they charge $25 for shiping and boxing so if you get 4 chicks you choose them
and they add light eight to complete 12 and thats it $25 total..
thats where i got my phoenix..

Ideal has a min. order amout of $25 which averages to 8 bantams and 10 standards.

Best bet would be either go the feedstore route (most will add your order in with their at least all ours do) or MPC with will charge you a higher amount for shipping and girls.
