UPDATE:
Well, my third straight attempt yielded.... SUCCESS!! Though not entirely perfect.
I set 56 eggs.
Candled on day 10 and 46 were fertile, but two were quitters, so 44 went into lock down.
23 hatched perfectly on day 16 1/2. My wife couldn’t resist helping two that are a bit off, but still cruising a day later. For now we’ll call it 25.
That’s over 50% which is way better than the total of 3 from my first two hatches, but still not as strong as I’d like. There are a few still working in the bator, but I don’t think they’ll make it out.
Giving them another day before I clean up and reset.
