I can't believe how fast they grew! Tomorrow they will be 5 weeks old!

I love how all of them look, I just hope they stay those colors. Do you think they will now?

The colors may change slightly as they mature, but at 5 weeks, gives a good idea as how they will be.
BTW are they using the nipple waterer's??? One thing I noticed a while back is the color. Most nipples are red color. Chickens are attracted to red, that is why they will peck at wounds. (blood) These are the first I see in yellow.

Eh...no one at the local AG store knew what horizontal nipples were...they looked at me like I had 3 heads. All they had available were the ones with cups. They keyed a few things into the computer and ordered them for me. Order came in...they called me...I drove to store...looked at them...pfft...same thing the store carried...the one with the cups. I was frustrated and just bought the dang things figuring I'll come up with something. So.....in my infinite wisdom, I removed the cups and tried just using the little nipple things as is...yes, they are yellow. lol

I can NOT find those square, red, horizontal nipples at TSC, nor the other local AG store that I go to. I don't know...

I did find them online. I just have the mentality of "buy online as the absolute last resort" type thing. I was a victim of ID theft so I'm a just a little wary of online purchases...or credit cards...or ATMs. Basically anything outside of handing cash from my paw to another's paw.

But...I may go buy a generic gift card to use for my online purchase if I can't find them on a cash/in person basis.
