With mine from the start I'd say chook-CHOOOOKS with the second syllable a higher pitch and more drawn out.

What I'm getting at here is maybe if you called to her she'd come close enough to feed her today then be more trusting in allowing herself to be captured tonight !
I have all my fingers crossed that tonight will be your happy ending!

Who doesn't love a good chicken story!?

Oh yeah...we chatted up a storm. Well I did the chatting. King (now Queen) came the closest to me. Came near my hand when I held a raisin out to him, now her. Bashful...has always been skittish. The others would chase her. I would distract the others by throwing Cheerios in one direction then tossing her a handful when the others weren't looking. :)

I have one like that too. She knows I'm her buddy.
