Where did they come from???

Wonderful!!! Exploring their new addition to their happy abode. No eggs...but I love my freeloaders...:love

Not too shabby of a shack for a bookkeeper with no skills...

I think you did an awesome job on your coop and run. You should be proud.

Are those candles you have hanging in there or battery operated? Hoping they're battery operated :)

So....today at lunchtime, I ventured home to eat my lunch with my feathered friends. I plop myself in the chair I have placed inside the run. They have come to realize that Mom carrying a plastic shopping bag means grub is soon to follow...as they all get a taste of what I'm having. I greet them all as I'm unwrapping my cheeseburger. They're all giving me the hairy eyeball thing...(head turned sideways to put their eye on you...love that). Anyhoo...I'm ripping open the ketchup packet and Mr. King apparently decides that Mom is just taking entirely too much time with this prep crap....and jumps up into my lap and takes a chunk of my burger! The little stinker. :love

I can't wait until they all realize that I'm not going to hurt them. I'd love for them to all become lap chickens. :)
Mine are not lap chickens yet, they do expect me to share any food I am eating near them to be shared. 2 out of 4 will eat out of my hand. As soon as I open my back door they all come running! They are all so stinking cute ,love them more than I ever expected :love

So true, had no idea I could get so attached to my girls! They gather around my feet looking for treats, and follow me all around their run. When I am cleaning their poop board at least one has to on the board at all times to see what I am doing.
