Where did they come from???

Pics
if this is how they act over a new tubby...the awesome leaves in the run...and the tasty flock block...I can't wait to see how they carry on when the new coop gets built in the Spring....they'll need counseling and crap...

They'll be fine with the new coop build. You just have to invite them to help. When we built our big coop, we had an entourage. Any time the tool box came out, the girls clustered around it and had lengthy discussions regarding the contents of that tool box. One of my Am girls got her name from Hubby. He is SO not into chickens, and so NOT a farmer. When ever he does any coop repairs, this little blue Am would be between his feet, tugging on his shoe laces, and tapping at the back of his leg. He called her (nosey) Nellie. The name stuck.

White monsters falling from the sky.

ETA: They can be really funny with their first snow. And trust me it's your fault its falling.

Great....another damn monster...will they ever end???

Wait!!!

I shall stand in the run and point upwards at the roof declaring my righteousness as their savior from the white monsters! :bun:bun:bun

The tubby monster remains untouched....

Question: What is the mixture ratio of the tubby? Sand, wood ash and DE?

So...I'm out in the shop and one of our customers asked how the chickens are doing (he remembers them loafing about the shop). I said they are doing good. His team driver then asks, "What kind of chickens do you have?" I reply, "Pretty ones with feathers...I think maybe an Easter Egger is one of them." He then perks up and asks, "What color eggs is it laying?" I say, "Invisible ones."

I'm such a moron with these chickens...

Lol, to be fair though, you didn't really have a great start seeing as you have NO idea the birds histories.

I still don't know a damn thing...lol I'm forever looking up breeds but I can't seem to match any of them to a particular breed. I think they are all mutts... I'll find a pic that looks similar to one of my chickens...then the legs are the wrong color....or the comb thingie isn't the same...beak a different color...:barnie The only thing I know is that they are over 3 months old...:th
