Where did they come from???

Pics
The run is the forest floor with the added monsters (leaves) that I put in there. I notice they rub the side of their beaks on stuff...is that normal?

Yep normal. Make sure they have something rough, like a brick or rocks in the ground (no new monsters) they actually file the end of their beak down. It grows like our fingernails, so they need hard stuff to keep it shapely. I had one chick that i had to trim with nail clippers

Well that makes sense... I was wondering what they were doing... They do it on the ground and on the cinder block that's holding the other monster (flock block). I'm glad they are taking care of that themselves...as I can't see me clipping beaks!

Well a very large percentage (dare I say 99.9%) never need trimmed. They normally take care of themselves.

if you want put the stuff for their tire in wheel barrel then in the tire easy to mix
the old lady is Richie Cavanaugh
I did pretty well with mixing it as I was putting it in the tire. Leaves on the bottom...as they were already there. A layer of sand then a layer of ash. Mixed that up pretty good. Then sprinkled DE. The repeated that same layer/mix until full. Then just topped it off with ashes. They're still afraid of it though...so it's all moot...
