Where did you first meet your Husband/Wife?

Online... before it was *cool*. Been together for 8 years, married for 6 with one wonderful daughter.

Swimming in the pond out back at Mom and Dad's place. I was 5 he was 12. I thought "oh yuck a boy!!!" He thought "Oh what a cute blonde brat-I should probably dunk her?"

skating rink...dorky i know.....married 2 years later...been married 27 years this feb 6...3 boys and 2 grandsons...I always wanted 5 kids...

We met in the dorm room of a mutual friend. We met Feb 19, 1975 and married Aug 19, 1978.

We met in High school in electronics class, dated on & off for 2 years, we married 3 months after she graduated.

Been married for 25 years this September.

at church, when he came in with my best friend's older sister. He married older sister; she committed suicide after 45 days of marriage (she had permanent brain damage from a stupid very abusive ex, and the drs. at Ochsner hospital told him there was nothing they could do, and unless she died in a car accident or something, she WOULD someday commit suicide. They were right.) I went to LA Aug. 19th with my high school friend & her younger sister. DH and I had a double wedding with his brother and my friend. Sadly, their marriage did not last. Ours has lasted almost 31 1/2 years now... love him more every day. BTW, he works away from home for weeks or months at a time, and today there was an FTD box delivered to the front door w/ a white teddy bear (I've always called him my Bear, from the VERY early days of our marriage) holding a red vase with pretty roses, baby's breath, and carnations. Have I mentioned how much I love that man?

I dated his friend and when things didn't work out, the ex-boyfriend's mom gave him my phone number. We went on our first date on April 16, 1994, we were engaged on May 14, 1994 and married July 16, 1994. We have been married for 15 1/2 years and have 3 kids. I am the luckiest girl ever. He is such an amazing husband and father.
