Where did you order/get your runners from?

I know that when they are startled they're straight up and down, but I assumed the show quality runners were up and down all the time. Am I wrong?

My show quality runners have 'down' time, just not very often.

I think so, I do know that at a show they put them in a ring and herd them around (No waddling allowed) and a good show runner will stand up straight when the judges are around, but they are at rest in the cages, some of which aren't tall enough to let them stand straight up.~gd

I bought some runners from Metzer years and years ago (like... 15

) and all but the blues were very upright. Not sure where the stock's gone since then, though. Runners are so funny!!

You're going to have to show a picture of your babies again. I'm dying to see.

I kept three of mine and gave the other three that hatched away and they just sent me pictures. They ended up with two blues and a black. Talk about omg gorgeous.

I just found her on ebay last night!

I think we are going to try and get some from her after the holidays.

Just have to figure out how to incubate now. Never have done that before.

Ours Gray Runners came from Holdereads show quality stock.

i got some from andreas eggs also and had a great hatch. I have also gotten them from other places and will be offering BBS in the spring.
