Where do chickens like to be pet?

Our 2 week old chick likes to be cuddled close to my chest. "She" also likes it when I rub her belly like a puppy.

My 3 RIRs enjoy being stroked gentley along their backs. My 2 EEs beg to get in my lap to have their pea combs rubbed. They tend to fall alseep when I rub the combs.

my chickens and my parrot love it when you rub their neck . dig in the feathers till you hit skin and kind of pinch their neck gently..fingers on each side of the neck.. they also love chest/tummy rub.. i think it gives them goosebumps or is that chickenbumps? cause the feathers on the neck rise up lol

I've found that hens like long strokes down the back to tail and Roo's seem to favor the breast and under the wing's.I Have had several hens(especialy some polish and cochin's) that love the under the wing rub's and my new OEGB roo likes it all lol.

My 4 week old chicks love being scratched under their china and necks! They will curl up in my lap and just stretch their little necks out on my finger until I scratch them there  they also enjoy gentle pets down their backs and bellies :)

Wow, my eight week old australorps must be weirdos--they all hate getting stoked or touched at all along their back, and always have, although they are getting to be more okay with stokes along the shoulder/wing area. My girls definitely like chest/tummy rubs, though.

Hi, I was so surprised to learn that my chicks like to be petted.
I have 2, 6.5 wk old Easter Eggers and 2, 4 wk old Buff Orpintons
that luv to be petted on their backs and tails, they walk back and forth thru my hands like a cat would do.
So Cool !!!
