Does Tractor Supply sell organic? I looked on their site & typed in organic feed and it didn't have any results. Should I just order it online? What's the best organic brand? Or is there a way of doing homemade organic food that will keep them full & healthy? We're going to be getting 5 girl sex links baby chicks.

Hi,

I don't think tractor supply does. We get our feed from a grains mill. Not too sure if it's organic. We mixed different grains with vitamin & mineral supplements so our chickens are pretty healthy.. I don't know about any commercial companies that sell organic feed though :/.

I'm lucky to live near a feed store that sells both conventionally grown non-GMO feeds and organic feeds. However enough chicken owners got together to order directly from an organic feed mill and have our feed delivered every two months at considerable savings. http://www.phoenixorganicfeed.com/
Maybe there is something similar near you or you can get something like that started if there are enough people for a minimum order.

Actually it depends on the mill. We are a single buyer at our feed mill. Some might have to have larger orders like Sill.
