Where should I move???

Sure does:) Mountains, beach(including the dunes!), desert, lots of rivers. Western Oregon is VERY green, so many different kinds of trees its just beautiful. We have small towns that are more laid back, but aren't too far from big cities if you want to go shopping or just visit, OR if you need to commute. A lot of things grow really well in our climate. Sooo many things you can do in Oregon, especially if you like to do a lot of outdoors stuff.

Move to western North CArolina. The mountains are cool, gorgeous, civilized, and if the urge takes you, you can be sitting on the beach within a half day. The mountains have really nice weather, four distinct seasons, but without the extremities of hot or cold. Plus we have great cities with lots of cool things to do. We have a thriving music scene with lots of local music festivals, and Bon Apetite magazine voted Chatham county (A little further downhill) the foodiest place in America. The Raleigh, Durham Chapel Hill area has one of the best educated per capita populations in the country. (To dispell any yokel myths you may have heard)
PLus the cost of living is not bad at all. Compared to CA especially!!!
I am from DC, have lived all over and there is nothing like NC.

And most of all: WE ARE CHICKEN FRIENDLY!!!!!

I'm living in summer, summer, summer, spring,

If you don't mind winter, I would go for northern Maine by the seacoast. It is beautiful! Actually all of Maine is beautiful, what part you would live in depends on if you like ocean, lakes, or deep woods.
