Where to buy Duck egg Cartons

My bad I only have Pekins and chickens so just assumed .. but still thats a big darn egg.. I actually found some plastic ones for just a little more then the Jumbo cartons.. I tried a store bought jumbo carton and they didnt quite fit.. Thanks for the suggestions though...

I dont think I said Jumbo was a good fit. it is just the best fit available. With muscovy eggs we would hold the cartons closed with rubber bands because the regular "snaps" would not close with the eggs inside. Tape would be better but you know people have to open that top and check that eggs were intact.

I went to" bed bath and beyond" or "Linen and things " store and bought a plastic egg tray that holds 14 eggs.for my fridge, for $15.00. My biggest egg layer is a Khaki Campbell.

Thanks for the info. Do you have a link or manufacturer info for the plastic egg trays you purchased? I'm interested in plastic as it's much more durable than cardboard and should be able to be used many times over.

You're talking about eating eggs, not hatching eggs, right?
I've heard of people who can't get people to try their duck eggs for free, people who sell them at $3 a dozen, and even people that sell them for $15 a dozen to restaurants!

$3 - $4 a dozen seems to be the average.

I fall into the "I can't even give them away" category. There's just no market for them here.

Jealous of the egg prices!

Cheapest dozen of eggs in my area is $7 per dozen. The average price is $12 a dozen. Chicken eggs are $5 a dozen.

Decided it was cheaper to get my own ducks at those prices .

If the word would get out how valuable the duck egg is and people that have allergy `s can eat duck eggs. People need to get educated on Alternative Health Care. Duck Eggs have more protein and
many more other nutrients that chicken egg`s do not have.There is so much information on the internet on the subject.
