Also, at our TSC they sell 50lb bags as well.

If you can't find a 50lb bag at TSC, check out your other local farm supply stores.

Do they make them larger than that? It's an hour away to the TSC and if they had huge bags 100#'s I would love not to have to make the trips so often-you know if not -oh well with that too-the price ill pay too spoil my babies!

The TSC in our area gives you like a 20-30% discount if you purchase 25 bags (half a pallet) or more. And it doesn't have to be chicken stuff, it could also be calf, pig, rabbit, gamebird ......... As long as you meet the 1/2 pallet minimum

do you have a local co-op? They got bigger bags or you can have some made, but you have to be able to handle a large amount to get it made, I get 1500 lbs at a time, the min. that my co-op makes is 400 lbs. or you can share an order with someone. My brother gets a bag a week for me.

I don't know if we have a co-op Ill have to check and Ill have to call our plattsburg TSC to find out about a discount! thank you so much Ill let you guys know!--How do you store such large quantities-400lbs at a time I mean -what is it in?

yes we have a co-op but they dont sell chicken food :-( and theres only 1 within a 3 hour radius from what I can tell. The TSC I will call on the pallet discount?

I would, they reconized me coming in once a week till the grain elevator started up and they offered the deal to me (think it was store manager) problem is, I would have to split that, because 25 50lb bags of feed would last me a while

I go throgh 1500 lbs in 4 to 6 weeks. its placed in gunny sacks and we just stack it 3 ft off the floor in a cool garage. when it heats up I only get 1000 lbs so it doesn't go stale.

most co-ops will mix you up a batch or will order it for you. even if they don't carry it.
