Where to buy Organic Chicken Feed?

Thanks you so very, very much for posting that Bowman's has organic chicken feed. I almost traveled to Virginia to get some. I don't know why I didn't think of checking there since I live in Westminster. I guess I just thought it would be too hard to find. Again, thank you for posting here! You saved me a great deal of gas and time!!!

I've found 3 feed stores in Michigan that supply organic feed:

Family Farm and Home in Chelsea, MI

The Chelsea Farmer's Supply in Chelsea, MI

The Napoleon Feed Mill in Napoleon, MI

Thank you! Just a note about Family Farm and Home. They are a chain with locations state wide, so go to their web site and find your local store to see if they have the organic feed

Ranch Way feeds in Colorado Springs, Co, is coming out with organic layer feed this summer, and will be available next week here in Carbondale (near Aspen) and many other places in the state. If you contact them, I'm sure they will be glad to tell you all the Colorado cities and towns their feed will be available. I'm sure it will be quite a few as their nonorganic feed has been widely available throughout the state.

Yes, Ranch Way feeds is located in Fort Collins, not Colorado Springs, although you can purchase the 40# bags for $34 in different Colorado Springs shops.

However, if you have a large operation, they will not discount a 1 ton order, picked up at their location, more than 1 40# bag worth. In other words, they give you a $34 discount over the retail bag price if you drive to them an buy a ton.

Now, Fehringer Ranch in Sidney, NE (4 hrs N of Colorado Springs) will sell you 1 ton of organic fed for under $800.

Contact them for prices - http://www.fehringerfarms.com/organicpoultryfeed.html
