Where to buy Organic Chicken Feed?

http://king-brand.com/new/ is working on an Organic line, including a soy free feed. They need to hear from us how important this is.

They make small pellets, for less waste & easier consumption!
(next will be corn free... like Cascade but maybe less dusty)

Organic chicken feed is expensive.... about $22 / 40 lbs.

Has anyone thought about starting a club and pooling our feed orders to get the price down?

As the listings for Illinois are pretty sparse, I thought I'd mention that Brother's Country Store in Ottawa (right across from the new Wal-Mart) stocks Nature's Grown organic feeds. I picked up a 40lb bag of the chick starter for $18 with tax last night.

On a separate note, anyone familiar with the brand - good or bad feedback?

Earley's in Madison, NY carries Poulin Grains/ Green Mountain Organic feeds. They don't stock the entire Poulin/ Green Mountain line but do have a decent selection and the staff is quite helpful with figuring out what you might want to go with. The prices were not much more for organic than to buy non-organic Purina brand products- I think around $5 more per 40 or 50 lb bag.

In missouri I know Hostetlers makes an organic feed. Their mill and feed store is in Buffalo but they sell their feed to some of the stores in Springfield. I know Race Brothers carries it, not sure if any other place has it or not.

and someone once told me that a feed store in Hartville had organic feed but I am not for certain.

I don't use organic feed though because it is so $$

Any interest in buying organic feed online? I am part of a company that sells it in bulk and we are discussing selling it by the bag or maybe a bucket of some sorts. We are based in PA but would be looking to ship it anywhere in the US. Just trying to find out if there is a market for the product?
